I didnt get around to it before but Im finally posting a tribute to a friend of mine, Troy Thoman, who died December 31st of a fatal car accident. We had many fun times at the club as he was a fellow promoter. I even drove his drunk ass home a couple times, haha! But he was a good guy and he LIVED for his baby girl, and never stopped talking about her.

Here is his obituary which was published in the Kitsap Sun.

Troy Mark Thoman, 25, of Bremerton died as a result of a car accident on Brownsville Hwy. on Dec. 30, 2008.

He was born Oct. 20, 1983 at Bremerton Naval Hospital to Mark and Sherrie (Graddon) Thoman. Troy is survived by his 18 month old daughter, Ryley Rose of Oregon, his parents Mark and Sherrie, his sister, Stephanie, and his 10 year old niece, Danakai, all of Bremerton and 7 grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy graduated in 2002 from Olympic High School, where he was active in track, cross country and swimming. He was an active member of Christ Memorial Youth Church for about 3 years. He went on a missionary trip to Romania to help the poor and unfortunate and worked on Emergency Earthquake Preparedness Kits for locals. Troy worked at James Lumber (Ace Hardware) in Poulsbo as a sales associate and in receiving at the warehouse for the past 5 years. With his extra time he worked at McDonalds in Silverdale to help support his daughter.

When Troy wasn't working or spending time with his family, you could find him out riding his Pearl White Suzuki motorbike or in Seattle or Tacoma promoting different clubs with the GoGettas. Troy loved to dance, chill with his friends and of course the ladies. He loved to make people laugh, especially his mother. Troy was a great father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and a first rate friend who will be deeply missed and forever loved!

A celebration of Troy Thoman's life will be held, Saturday, Jan. 10th, 3 p.m. at the Bremerton Eagles F.O.E. 192, downtown on the corner of 6th and Washington. There will be a potluck reception with a designated area for minors and a no host bar. Parking is limited so please be prepared to possibly pay to park in one of the nearby parking garages. A benevolent fund has been established at Washington Mutual Bank.
